H2S KNOCKOUT / ENGINEERED SOLID MEDIA

HIGH-CAPACITY H2S REMOVAL. ENGINEERED AROUND THE APPLICATION.

HIGH-CAPACITY H2S REMOVAL. ENGINEERED AROUND THE APPLICATION.

H2S Knockout Dry utilizes amorphous iron oxy-hydroxide pellets specifically engineered for high H2S absorption rates and demanding gas-treatment applications.

THE KNOCKOUT ADVANTAGE

Not simply bags of solid media: the offering combines media + engineered equipment + field service + changeouts + monitoring + data + technical support.

7 MEDIA TYPES • PROPRIETARY MEDIA LAYERING • VERTICALLY INTEGRATED OPERATIONS • FABRICATION • CHANGEOUT CREWS • FIELD SERVICE • 24/7 TECHNICAL SUPPORT • PERFORMANCE MONITORING • CUSTOM KPI DATA PORTAL

HOW THE SERVICE WORKS

ANALYZE → DESIGN → FABRICATE → INSTALL → TREAT → MONITOR → CHANGEOUT → OPTIMIZE

H2S Knockout provides treatment technology and media programs. Knockout Engineering can support engineering and system optimization where applicable; Knockout Fabrication can provide treatment vessel and equipment fabrication; and Knockout Field Services can support field service, changeouts, and equipment support. Not every project requires every Knockout division.

DEMONSTRATED LOADING CAPACITY

Amorphous iron oxy-hydroxide pellets specifically engineered for high H2S absorption rates, higher sulfur intake, channeling avoidance, and pressure-drop mitigation.

Dry media technology in operation

NO PRODUCT ADDED TO THE PRODUCTION SYSTEM

Because treatment occurs in the solid-media vessel, no treatment product is added directly into the production system. This eliminates the potential for treatment-related scaling or dithiazine formation from the Dry Media treatment itself.

TWO-VESSEL TREATMENT

A two-vessel system can be utilized to help maintain specification during treatment transitions and operational surges.

CUSTOMIZED MEDIA PROGRAM

ENGINEERED FOR THE LOCATION.

Media selection and proprietary media layering can be tailored to site-specific treatment requirements rather than applying one identical media configuration to every location.

ENGINEERED TREATMENT VESSELS

Common vessel configurations include Lead/Lag, Guard Bed, Split Flow, Single Vessel, and Portable Units. Vessels are NACE compliant for H2S service and built to ASME Section VIII Division 1 standards. Common vessel sizes include 78” × 20’, 84” × 26’, and 96” × 30’.
